Vote points are a reward for voting and are global across all regions. Vote points can currently be spent on changing your corporation's name or motto, or for instantly completing research.

A corporation's name can be changed by spending 2x vote points with the following command: <code>$$name <name></code>
For example, changing a corporation's name to "Hello World": <code>$$motto Hello World</code>

A corporation can choose to expedite its research by spending 4x vote points with the following command: <code>$$res</code> and clicking the checkmark that appears.
