uu tech used to make coal Coal is better than Solar in terms if you have a supplier of grabbing coal OR if you have the coal detector uu but for a self-sustain build, as it's more efficient. However, not everyone can just buy coal detector , nor have uu tech, so solar is slightly worse than just pure solar farm. This may change if an update makes + assets also usable like regular itemsthe best option for full idle, people who have no market connections or people who don't have uu.

There is also [[Solar power plant| another]] facility that creates energy! [[Solar power plants plant]]s also exist, and there can be issues with on picking which one you might want if you are a newbie. The question is: Which one do you pick? On one hand, you need to have the [[coal mine ]] requirement for a coal power plant but it gets 45x more energy every 90s. On the other hand, solar has no inputs but it has less output than that of the coal power plant. Coal power plants are better if you have a supplier of coal. However, not everyone can just buy coal from the live market (Shortage of resources becomes a factor.) so solar is the best option for full idle, "I have no market connections" type of people.
