Scrap is an asset used to Level your Factories, Mines, and Facilities at a rate of 1:1:1 meaning; 1 Scrappable Asset : 1 Scrap : 1xp.
So you would need 100k of a Scrappable Asset to Level a Facility 1 time or 5M of a Scrappable Asset to Fully Level a building.
The only purposes for Scrap are leveling your buildings, and Developing Reincorporation Computer for which you will need 100k.
