(Substantial fixing of grammar + readability of Land Price Formula, still needs more work, isn't clear exactly what is being said at end of first paragraph, also possible redundancy in 2nd paragraph, could someone please review (to Ben, could u check if meaning of final sentence is still the same, wasn't sure what u were saying)) |

Land is a special kind of asset that determines how many facilities you can build. Each land you own will allow you to build one facility. The price of land goes up the more land you already have. You can buy land the same way you buy other assets, but land cannot be sold.
Note: Land can be removed from a region, using $$liquidate, which will sell everything in the region. Land and Factories are sold for 40% of what you paid. Assets are sold at the current sell price value of the NPC market.
Starting Land
Corporations will start with 10 land in the first region that an IdleCorp command is issued in. When a corporation undergoes reincorporation, the 10 free starting land will be given in the region that the reincorporation command was issued in. If you have done some of the requirements of the season pass, some rewards can be the starting land bonus, which can increase the starting land you would have.
Land Price Formula
Land price is calculated approximately by 600*[1.1^(total land bought)]. This approximation gets increasingly inaccurate, but with about a 50% error for 100 land when a gap of 5 fills it isn't half-bad.
We also know that if the amount of land owned < 10, then the land price = 0.
Maximum Land Possibly Owned: An evidenced player submission for 335 land has been the highest amount achieved so far. The same player believes the maximum possible amount to be 335-341, depending on the land discounts. This does not take into account the free land given from reincorporation tokens.
The maximum possible displayable number for 64 Bit systems (long) is −9.223.372.036.854.775.807, so it stands to reason that the maximum theoretical land price is about 92 sextillion.
